This year I got accepted for the 3rd time to the B&H Photo Portfolio Development Series. It’s a personal project for me to improve and grow as a photographer and artist. What I choose to photograph is for me, which is refreshing. I am free to experiment and try out new techniques and stretch my creativity.
The program runs through May. Each participant is required to attend 6 workshops, 2 critiques and post weekly on Instagram. In May we submit a mini portfolio for possible inclusion into a group gallery show at Soho Photo Gallery in the summer. We’re also required to create a book through Blurb.
As I am still working on a theme I believe it will be The Art Of Child Photography. For now I’m shooting whatever inspires me.
I’m excited to keep exploring!
