A couple of weekends ago we were looking for something to do. We took a drive to a farm and got lost along the way. it took us 2 hours to get there. We stayed 10 minutes. All I had to hear (and see) was that 18 cats lived on the premises.
We (I) are clearly not farm people.
We have a 4 day weekend this weekend. NYC Public schools closed Monday and Tuesday for Rosh Hashana.
Yay.
A few things on the agenda…
– Part 3 of the three-part birthday celebration at Sportime USA
– Attempting to make fig, olive and sea salt challah for the holiday dinner on Sunday.
– Pack a blanket, snacks and bug spray and watch a movie on the river Saturday night
– Take some photos and eat yummy food at the Feast of San Gennaro
What do you have planned for your weekend?
Happy rosh hashana! We have no major plans this weekend. The kids both have colds and it’s 100 degrees. My plans include staying inside where it’s cool!
Wow! 100 degrees – yikes! I am so glad it is finally in the 70’s here in NY. Perfect weather!
