Since today is Labor Day – the unofficial end to summer, I figured I would share some of my favorite photos from this past season. With all the planning that goes into summer – camp, work, vacations, it’s hard to believe that it’s over already and now we need to switch back to school mode.
To summarize, this summer we spent a few days in Hershey, PA, the girls went to day camp, I taught Photography workshops and ran a one week Photography Camp, we swam at a pool club, took trips to the zoo, saw some amazing shows, and the girls ate tons of ice cream. Yep, that was pretty much how it went.
I have to say, Summer is definitely not one of my favorite seasons. My favorite is coming up – Fall! YAY!! Sweaters, boots, cooler weather, and less humidity which means my hair may actually stand a chance!! You can tell it’s just around the corner. You can even see a difference in the light quality from the sun. Great for photos!!
How was your summer? What was the most memorable part?
We had a great Summer. The kids are already back in school and I miss the leisure time so much! Ug. Back to school and homework and crankiness. Sigh.
I actually like the Summer months here. The weather is usually pretty mild until September, then the hot weather hits. Fall is just a tease. It doesn’t cool off until Thanksgiving!
