I’m doing a little catch up here – posting on a few sessions from the end of last year before I post about more recent ones.
What can I say about Vicky and the guys!! This was a really fun family to photograph. They are very easy going and super photogenic!!
On this particular day, we were supposed to have an outdoor session but it was raining. No problem – there’s always a Plan B! We started out in their home. This is always good because they are already comfortable in the space – it’s their own!!
I always like to take a variety of photographs – not just the whole family together. I like to highlight the different relationships within the family as well. I love how the boys snuggle in with their mom.
Awww – all the guys together!
I’ve known the older brother from photographing him in shows. He has a great personality and lots of stage presence and his younger brother is just as sweet as can be. I felt honored when he wanted to show me his favorite toys!
Vicky and her husband clearly have a special loving relationship and it filters through to their kids.
Even though it was raining – they were troopers and let me drag them outside for a few photos. The architecture of their prewar building is amazing and the natural light from the cloudy weather was just perfect. Just a few sprinkles!!
It felt like being in an English Garden – so picturesque!
They had some fun with it also – it’s only water, right?!?
This was the card I designed for them using one of their favorite photographs from the session and their own words.
Shortly afterwards, they had a new addition to the family – a poodle! We’ll have to get her next time!
They are such a great family and I hope it shows through in the photographs.
