I’m continuing through with the B&H Photo Portfolio Development Series. With these set of images, I was experimenting with leaves and textures.
It was a day when my girls didn’t want to go out but I had a vision for a photograph. My daughter begrudgingly modeled for me . I used my living room window as my light source and set up a makeshift background. She let me photograph her as her sister threw leaves on her head. She was a good sport about it!
I feel a bit frustrated as I look at this set. I feel like I wasn’t able to recreate the dreamy outdoorsy vision that was in my head. Also, I definitely need to experiment more in Photoshop with adding textures and trying to achieve a more fine art feel.
Lots of experimenting still ahead of me!
