Yesterday I went to HomeGoods and found some really special items. I’ll share those with you next week. While I was there though, I spotted this beauty.

This book is filled with so many wonderful ice cream photos with great recipes. I just love looking at this book!

What is your favorite brand and flavor of ice cream?
My current favorites are Baskin Robbins Cherries Jubilee and Chocolate Chip. VANILLA Chocolate Chip – none of that mint stuff. Eeek!! I also like hard ice cream – don’t go for the soft serve version. Blah! Unless there’s cherry dip on top but then I mostly just eat all the cherry dip off so I guess that doesn’t really count.

Oh, forgot to leave my favorites – Chocolate Almond, Cherries Jubilee, Pistachio, Black Walnut Pralines and Cream and anything that tastes like Dreamsicles.
It’s not summer until we go to the tip of Cape Cod and I indulge in a cone of Ben & Jerry’s New York Super Fudge Chunk. Worth every calorie!
I love peanut butter cup or moose tracks. I think ice cream is one of my favorite foods so I would not turn down any flavor.

My favorite flavor is Ben and Jerry's Phish Food. I also once had a chocolate mousse that was light and amazing, but I can't remember where I got it or the brand, so alas I haven't had it in years.

My favorite ice cream is Dreyer's Cookies and Cream.
Although I do not have a real sweet tooth, my favourite is actually from a local ice cream shop…lindt chocolate, especially the dark chocolate variety.
Anything the Big Gay Ice Cream Truck serves. I'm still coming off my Salty Pimp high. Otherwise I'm just a plain jane girl. Vanilla all the way but it has to be the real deal.
Favorite ice cream? In this hot hot summer, I love all favorites. Have you even try sake ice cream? It's good! I couldn't read the brand name couse' it written in Japanese. But it sales in Mitsuwa, NJ.
A couple of years ago I fell in love with an electric Italian ice cream maker at Williams Sonoma. Everyone thought I was nuts. As it was $200 I couldn't afford it, but oh how I wanted it! My parents used to make ice cream every summer in this huge electric gadget that made so much noise they would stash it in the closet when it was on. Anyway, my favorite ice cream is coconut. I'm not picky about where its from, but there's this local cafe called "milk" where they make their own. It's amazing.
I like chocolate and the variations of. I read something the other day, that Baskin Robins is retiring 5 of their flavors at the end of the month. It is the most they have ever retired at one time.

What gorgeous pictures. My favorite flavor I am drawn to is of that particular day with my granddaughter! I tend to like vanilla based kinds but diving into her Phish flavor is fine with me.
Our family favs are Ben & Jerry's Coffee Heath Bar Crunch, Cherry Garcia and S"mores. Mint Choc Cookie is up there too!! Oh, and Balducci's Peppermint Stick but they are no longer around 🙁 And whatever happened to good 'ol choc with marshmallows – miss that flavor.
it's all about the ices for me this sweltering summer heat wave. As delicious as ice cream is, and as big a fan as I am of the mango or the Mexican chocolate Hagen Daz (it's got cinnamon) – right now my favorite is anything sorbet'ish, icy, fruity and a little tart. Tonight, I'll be having an Edy's All Fruit Pomegranate popsicle or a scoop of ciao bella (on sale at Fairway) Ginger Peach sorbert. If anyone has an other tarty suggestions — please!!
What a fun little topic! But… it is somewhat depressing too! Ice cream goes straight to my hips. The guilty culprit is Breyers Strawberry. Just sugar,cream, milk and strawberries! Purely natural, Pure bliss and worth the widening hips…. I think!
