Hey there! How was your week? My girls only had a 3 day school week because of Rosh Hashana – the Jewish New Year. I think NY may be the only state that gives kids off for that holiday. I don’t really do anything religious like going to temple but we do have a big dinner. My sister usually cooks for this holiday but she was away which means it was my duty. I was in the kitchen most of the day on Wednesday cooking things like roasted chicken, matzo ball soup, noodle pudding and various other dishes.
Speaking about matzo balls, I was cracking up yesterday. On weekend mornings I like to watch the Food Network while everyone else is still asleep. On one of the shows they mentioned a restaurant that makes BACON WRAPPED MATZO BALLS!!! Is that crazy or what? I would definitely try that!
OK, on to my reflection for the week. It was a rainy day and my daughter and I went out to do some errands. Rain puddles make for great reflections.
Do you have any to share? Let”s see in the comments.

I like that you went black and white with the pic. I reflects the mood of the weather. They say “eyes are the mirror to the soul” or something like that; well, I like that I was able to see the reflection of what I was doing. https://www.facebook.com/permeosoculos/photos/a.1463001757313225.1073741830.1431749627105105/1465130977100303/?type=3&theater

I love it! It’s so creative! When I do portrait sessions with kids, I can almost always see a reflection of myself in their eyes when I zoom in close. Literally – there I am with the camera!! 🙂

Stacey I love that photo. But I also just love the vibe of rainy photos. Here’s mine for the week. If this was a competition I would have to just settle for third because Nate’s is pretty cool too.

I like moody photos as well! In your photograph I like all of the horizontal lines going on.
