How is everyone? Hope you had a great weekend.
This week on I Heart Faces, the photo challenge theme is Autumn Splendor. My family recently went on a nature walk up at a place called Tea Town in upper Westchester. We went with my sister and her family. I thought it was nice -very scenic, but my girls on the other hand were a little bored – especially my older one. She’s definitely more the girlie girl. I guess if there was a playground that would suffice but just looking at foliage wasn’t her thing.
Anyway, I took this photo of my nephew as we were heading back from our walk in search of apple cider.

So cute! Sorry the nature walk didn’t delight. When my kids were younger they didn’t really get it either, though I suppose their mother freaked out that everything green might be Poison Oak didn’t help. I find that children do like walks on the beach though! Shells, water, little sand crabs, seaweed and birds never fail to delight.
