This morning the hubbs hands me the Riverdale Press and says there’s a photo of our little one in there. I immediately turn to the page and was excited by what I saw. Yes, she was in the photo, but the photo was MINE!!! As well as the one above it! It’s an ad for the Performing Arts Programs at The Riverdale Y featured in the special Back To School section.
As I looked through the rest of the paper, I was even more surprised! On page A14, there’s a group photo of the kids from my Photography Camp!! I’m so happy for them!
On the day we were visited by Karsten Moran – the Press Photographer from The RIverdale Press, he took this group shot of them. He made no promises that it would be printed but the kids were so excited anyway. I can imagine how excited they’ll be today when they actually see it in print. YAY!
Nice. It’s always great to live in a community that’s engaged with the children.
