I can’t believe it’s Friday already and I also can’t believe my niece’s Bat Mitzvah was almost a week ago! How did that happen?? I have some more photos to share with you today from the party. These are some of my favorites. When you see them at first you may think I’m crazy but let me explain.
The place where she had the after party was so cool. Very City Girl! It was so cool in fact, it’s one of those places that doesn’t even have a name. It’s just a number on the door and if you’re in the know, you just know which door is the correct one. Yes! Stuff like that really exists here in NYC – not just in Sex & The City!! (I so miss that show!)
This place had an upstairs section and a downstairs area mainly for the kids. It was like a club – very dark, LOUD music, crazy lights..the works!
When I was down there I wanted to get some shots of the kids but it was super dark. My initial instinct was of course to use my flash. This si what happened.
Are you still with me? Yep, plain old picture. A snoozefest honestly. There’s no way you can grasp the feeling of that room from that photo. Then I decided to go flashless!! Yes – you CAN do that!! This is the result I got…
See what a difference? I love the craziness of the lights!! This si truly how it felt down there! Now just blast some music and it will really feel like you were there.
