My close friends have an apartment on west 55th street in the city that they are selling.
As most of you know, I absolutely LOVED living in the city! I did so for many years and honestly wish I never left. Even though Riverdale is only about a 15 minute drive from the Upper West Side, it’s not the same. Living IN the city and living NEAR the city are two completely different things!!
I was down there earlier this week to take photos of the apartment, I got lost in my own dreamworld about how this would be a perfect weekend getaway place for myself. Uh, I mean for my family, of course. Or even a place to use to have meetings or set it up as a studio for photo shoots. My mind was filled with possibilities!!
Well, the timing isn’t right for me to get this apartment but maybe it is for one of you! Let’s take a tour…
The kitchen is great especially for the city. You don’t usually see such a long kitchen. This one has lots of counter space and cabinets! I remember the kitchen in my first apartment in the city. It was a corner, not even a room and everything was miniature!
It even has a window. Unheard of!
The bedroom is sweet, with 2 windows and 2 entrances.
What’s to say about a bathroom? Not really the most exciting room in the home but it is clean…with a window!
The entrance opens up to a very roomy foyer/dining area with an archway that leads into the spacious living room. If you ask, maybe they’ll include the movie posters!
The living room is long with a section in the corner to set up an office area if desired.
The best part is it’s less than 2 blocks away from my favorite pizza place – Mariella’s!!
