It’s been one of those weeks. I’ve been sick for most of it with a cold – the runny nose type and achy body. Still trying to get things done but I feel like my head is in a fog.
This morning when I woke, it literally was in a fog! We live right near the Hudson River and the hubbs asked if I heard the fog horn going off in the middle of the night.
Nope. Heard nothing.
That is until 2 little ones crept in (who aren’t even so little anymore) and then there was 4 in the bed and the little one said roll over. Yep, you get the point.
Although I was all stiff and achy, as soon as I saw that fog, I just had to go out with my camera. I walked my little one to school and we couldn’t even see down the block. The fog was so thick!
I dropped her off and walked around a bit.
I love how mysterious a foggy morning feels. I felt like I was in London and I would spot Sherlock Holmes coming out of the fog.
As the fog slowly started to lift, so did my imagination and back to reality I came.
Hard like a smack in the face.
I remembered what I had planned for today – paperwork and taxes!
Hope your day will be as fun as mine!
