I was determined today to find that P!! I want to get back to my regular Sunday schedule so I didn’t want it to drag out much longer. I have to say, this was much harder than I thought it would be.
So after dropping my girls off at school today I strolled around the playground and this is what I found…
It’s looking up at part of the monkey bars that the girls like to swing on.
Did you find anything?
Check back on Sunday for my letter Q!

This letter was very hard to find Stacy. I looked at a kid’s playground but just couldn’t get it. You have a great eye!! If you look closely and add imagination, you may see my “P” in an art piece I found by a railroad overpass. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10200817110366219&set=a.4246542597954.2148261.1117345440&type=1&theater¬if_t=like
I think imagination and a lot of suggestive hints are what I’m going to need to convey a “Q”. And maybe a two-month more search…lol.

Yes – with my imagination I can see the P but I think if you cropped it, it would have been more obvious. I did see a “G” in the wheel on the right. If you rotate it clockwise a bit it’s a G
My hint for the Q is to not just look at things straight on. Look from a different perspective. As I tell the kids in my class – “Look up, down and all around” 🙂 Hope that helps!

I agree imagination is definitely needed when trying to find any one of these letters. I have 3 examples of Q’s. I’ll have to decide which one I’ll use.
– Nate, your photo was taken down town, right? That piece looks familiar.
– Stacey, I was getting worried for you, but I realize you were probably gearing up for the B&H / photography event.
Anyway, here’s my “P” for the week. http://sdrv.ms/Hed8MD

That is so funny Frank! I almost used the same thing!! I was looking through my kitchen at ladles, strainers and the like. When I came up with that one I asked my 7 yr old daughter what she thought and she said “I don’t know – maybe” which means keep looking! That would have been hysterical if we posted the same thing!
I mentioned on the fb page that I was sick and apologized for the delay! 🙂
Frank says
Well then Stacey, you’re 7 year old still have “young” eyes and just can’t see the nuance and the beauty of kitchen items… lol! 🙂 But that goes to show we’re thinking alike. 😉
Now, had you used a kitchen item you would have sent me scrambling once again looking for a “P”. But I tried using the cook books to show some context with the strainer.
Well I hope you’re feeling much better now.

Frank, that is part of a piece that is at the railroad overpass downtown on Central near Rock Island.
Stacy – glad you’re feeling better.
