How has your week been? Well I hope. Today is our last day of summer vacation. The girls go back to school tomorrow and we all get to go back to a regular schedule. I’m actually looking forward to it!
So earlier this week we went to visit my husband’s sister and family. They live about 2 hours away in NJ.
As the girls were playing in the backyard, I was looking around with my camera – photographing the girls, their vegetable garden and anything else I found interesting. Before you know it, I spotted my “I”!!
I was happy because I’m trying to stay with uppercase letters even though I had to stray with my “G” and my “H” can kind of pass for both upper and lower.
OK – let’s see what you found!

Nice one Stacy! Okay, so we’re visiting this town in Kansas called “Nicodemus.” It was founded by ex-slaves and free people of African descent back in the 1800’s. Each year the descendents of those original founders go back to the town and have what they call a “Homecoming” celebration. Of course, I’m snapping flicks of as much stuff as I can when (you know me) something obscure catches my eye. There it is…a tent spike. And that’s the story of my “I”. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10200542637424567&set=a.4246542597954.2148261.1117345440&type=3&theater
Oh, by the way, the town is now owned by the National Park Service and still has a population of about 150 residents.

That’s great and I love the back story. Like a history lesson! 🙂

Well, I wish I had a compelling story like Nate’s for my photo this week, but I don’t. I found it hard finding an “I” this week, but tonight working out at the gym I literally found it in my hands. 🙂
I thought both of you guys photos were pretty well taken and creative.

Nice Frank! I like the black and white and the texture of the rug really makes it pop! As I am at the gym today I will have a different outlook to my 3 POUND weights!! 🙂

That’s hot Frank!! I like it! Compelling is not needed, just hearing you’re still in the gym (and I’m not) is inspiring. You are looking great! I need to get back in there.

As each year passes I find myself slowing down at the gym. But I still go and put in my time. It’s a good habit I’ve started and if I stop it might just be too hard to return. 🙂

Nate I type in your name instead of mine on the last post… oops. 🙁
