52 Week Photo Challenge – Week 30 – “D”

I am in this building all the time – whether it is teaching a class or going to the gym.  I see these windows all the time and have even mentioned them in my photography classes.  But, it took one of my own students to point out that half of the circular window looked like a D!!

As I tell my students, it’s good to practice looking at things differently.  Don’t just label things – “a window” for example.  Think about what else it can be.

My students have now begun looking for letters.  I think it’s so great when they come to me excited to show me the letters they have found!
