Shooting wide is very uncomfortable for me. As a portrait photographer, my natural instinct is to get in tight – always wanting to fill the frame.
For this photo, I used the widest setting on one of my not-so-great lenses. This was shot at 28mm. My family was playing in a local park. I was too tired to play so instead I took photographs.
I am always amazed at how other photographers get such amazing wide shots. For me though, I think I need to stick with tight!!
This coming week I am up to letter X. YIKES! That’s a tough one! Instead of photographing something beginning with the letter X, I will photograph something that looks like the letter X.
Have a great rest of your weekend!

This may be cheesy, but the only thing wider than the smiles of my boys, is the smiles of my girls (not pictured). https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=4969495951336&set=a.4246542597954.2148261.1117345440&type=3&theater
